I noticed a lot of 9ers fans invading and will talk about Superbowls against any fact.

Well they haven’t won in almost 29 years. I know every eagles fan here has seen atleast one win. What’s the youngest you started watching?

I’m over 50 and I understand football less now then back in the day. It was Lynn Swann- he caught the ball.

Was present for games since like birth lol

The first game I remember was Eagles - Bengals in 2000 when I was 7.

My mom was sick and passed out on the couch. I was watching the game with her and my dad, and we gained 8 yards on a first down and I was like WOW and she groggy said “what?” So I turned to her and said “second and TWO” and ended up spitting all over her saying the “two”

About 7, I would watch with my dad and uncles but it was my aunt who actually broke down everything. She was school teacher and was very good at explaining things. Ironically we’re from the Bay Area, she was really good with basketball because she went to college with Bill Russell

Most Niners fans still don’t understand football so age isn’t a factor

I remember watching the Fog Bowl in 1988. Was ten at the time.

I was born knowing ball. I was drawing up plays on my mom’s uterine lining at just 3 years old.

Age 8, during the 1981 NFL season (though the first game I remember watching at least in part was Super Bowl 15 in January 1981). Turned 9 years old during the season (today is my “special day” actually).

I remember all 5 of the 49ers’ Super Bowl wins. Joe Montana is actually my all-time favorite non-Eagles NFL player. Liked Ronnie Lott a lot too.

What happened in the 1980s and 1990s is irrelevant now. None of the current 49ers players were on those Super Bowl winning teams, or even in the NFL at that time.

My rule of thumb with pro sports titles is any title over 20 years old is a long time ago and not really relevant. The trophies are dusty. For argument’s sake, they don’t really count anymore. (An alternate way of looking at titles is any title you personally don’t remember/occurred before you followed the league/sports don’t count; you don’t remember them.)

1979. I bet someone in my elementary school class 25 cents the Steelers would beat the Cowboys. I kind of understood football, but didn’t really follow it. I just rooted for the Steelers because they were from PA and it would be wrong to root for the Cowboys. 2 years later I was a die hard Eagles fan.

Think I was around 9 or 10 when I really started getting into football, when Duce was putting up monster numbers and Hugh Douglass and J Trott were in their primes. Admittedly back then the Flyers were my first love but eventually as guys like McNabb, Westbrook etc started coming to Philly they took over and I never looked back. GO BIRDS!

Started liking it at age 7, really got into it at age 8. Loved the Eagles for the Kelly greens and stuck with them since.
