My main concern with the eagles these past few games is that there is too much risk in their play. Our D works when we get to the QB — and we do on early downs but we get torched on 3rd and longs. Similarly, our O lives and dies by the big play - the Hurts Hero throw or the Swifr long run.
I’d like to see us get back to more methodical play calling, attuned to the players strengths. Don’t overthink it. More swing and screen passes to the RBs, especially swift. Let AJ and the TE work the middle. Throw an occasional deep shot to Quez to stretch the field. And let Devonta do anything he wants. For D, less 5 man fronts please, an occasionally blitzing Lb seems more flexible and less predicable. And maybe give Nolan Smith a shot?
