Any mysteries that were never publicly answered? Or stories that were never told?
I’ll start with some (I’ve only been a Nets fan for a year or so):
- Wendell Ladner’s entire jersey retirement thing (see Wikipedia for more)
- Did the Knicks intentionally made the ABA-merger harsher towards the Nets to not have to face their superteam?
- How poor was Ratner during the Kidd-Carter-Jefferson years?
- The entire controversy during Barclays Center’s construction
- Why did DWill regress so much after being traded here?
- The entire Gerald Wallace trade saga (King didn’t view the draft as strong, had a chance to add more protections but didn’t, apparently made to appease Deron, etc)
- Did the refs really try to push for a Nets-Heats series in 2014?
- What happened between Lawrence Frank and the front office that caused his departure?
- Why did the TWolves give up Thaddeus Young for free to us?
- What occurred between Marks and Lopez right before his trade in 2017?
- Jahlil Okafor conspiracy theory
- Is it true that KD really called Marks before the trade deadline to tell him to trade Harden away?
- Bruce Brown re-signing (or lack thereof)
- Was Billy King microwaved as a child?

If Jayson Williams never shot that man, could he have been the missing piece for the nets title run?
Ratner (the owner of the franchise) didn’t even know the game had 4 quarters. So he cared so little about the sport to educate himself on the basics. For Ratner it was a pure real estate play.
Why didn’t that Brooklyn Nets sitcom ever come to fruition? Y’all remember that? Lol
