Hi, I know this question may get asked a lot but I’m wondering; when you think about all the places and the experience you had there as a whole (scenery, people, laws, culture, etc) what takes the cake as the closest to perfect?
I know perfection isn’t a thing when it comes to being an expat, but I’m sure you’ve felt once before “if it had just this one thing it would be perfect”
I think mine would be Ikaria, Greece.

Immigrant*
I’ve lived in Doha, Qatar, Constanta, Romania, Houston, TX, San Antonio, TX, Dallas, TX, Frankfurt Germany, Biloxi, MS, and Montgomery, AL. My choice is secret and I am blessed to have the experience and choice.
I felt like this about San Diego, but I got sick of it after 4 years (went there for college). I do think that the neighborhoods I lived in weren’t the greatest though.
Ukraine, I lived in Asia, the EU and I have an idea of life in North America. Nothing beats Ukraine.
İzmir, turkey has been great for 8 years, nowadays though the Turkish government has made it really difficult for foreigners to stay and live here though
Sydney, Australia. Beaches, good food, good drink, great restaurants, you want nature? Beach? Bar? Nice city? Lots of parts and trees. Nice neighborhoods, friendly people. I lived there one time. Broke my heart when I left & it’s still broken… it’s been 6 years…
