Admittedly, I haven’t kept up with the team as much in the last couple years but I am heavily invested this year. Question for you guys…

Why the hell aren’t teams scrambling to get TJ as their back-up? I think he’s better than Nembhard when given the same opportunities.

Is he a defensive liability? Dude is a playmaker and scorer…

Yeah, I love the guy. It’s a quandry… I think he could actually be a starter in the league. We are just stacked with pg’s.

Speaking honestly, he’s got a great motor but not a reliable 3. His defense is scrappy, but that doesn’t make him a consistent defender or a versatile one either. He’s good at the things he’s good at, but he doesn’t have the versatility to deal with switches to a big. TJMs biggest detriment is his size, which stinks cause his basketball iq is so solid.

He will be an incredible coach one day.

TJ is so good. I have no idea why he doesn’t play every game.

hes not going anywhere because realistically we cant get anything for him and honestly i think hes fine here. we dont want him to walk in FA, so its best we pay him to play here.

I don’t think TJ wants to leave and a backup PG isn’t really worth a ton on the trade market to make the Pacers feel like they must move him

I think Backups genuinely just fetch a 2nd rounder nowadays.

That’s not really worth it for us TBH Now a team offered multiple firsts I’m sure they’d thank him for his services . But no one is going to do that 😂
