In the 2019 NFL Draft, Veach drafted Hardman in the 2nd round with the 56th pick. DK Metcalf was pick 64.

In the 2020 NFL Draft, Veach drafted CEH in the 1st round with the 32nd pick. The next pick was Tee Higgens at 33.

In the 2022 NFL Draft, Veach drafted Skyy Moore in the 2nd round with the 54th pick. This was after the Chiefs FO traded picks with NE that gave away our ability to pick up George Pickens at 52.

During the 2023 offseason, Veach gives Jaawan Taylor an $80 million contract making him one of the top 10 highest paid tackles in the league, despite his previous known issues (Jags fans still in complete bewilderment)

During the 2023 season, Veach gives away our 2024 6th and compensatory 5th round draft picks to get back Mecole Hardman, who is currently on IR.

If you’re wondering why the Chiefs offense is in such a sorry state these days, you just have to look backwards. Years of bad drafting and decision making has finally caught up to us.

    I forgot to add Veach not grabbing any WR before the trade deadline this year, although I guess that sorta overlaps with him throwing away our 5th and 6th round picks to get back Hardman, who of course isn’t even playing.
