Years of missed shots on skill position players in the draft has finally caught up to us. A lot of that rests on Veach’s shoulders.

I forgot to add Veach not grabbing any WR before the trade deadline this year, although I guess that sorta overlaps with him throwing away our 5th and 6th round picks to get back Hardman, who of course isn’t even playing.

Our defense seemed slower and disorganized those first 2 GB drives, I guess Drue being out is affecting us a lot

The training with Tamba Hali in the offseason seems to have really paid off.

So much has gone wrong this year and I mainly put the blame on Veach’s shoulders. He should have made moves to upgrade our skill position players instead of arrogantly believing that a WR room full of WR3’s was going to get the job done. He also gave that ridiculously overpriced contract to Jawaan Taylor which is just icing on the cake. My expectations of the Chiefs this season has dramatically been lowered after tonight, I don’t see this team making any deep playoff run giving how incredibly putrid this offense is.
