Happy to get killed here, but everyone I heard on radio and TV brought up how we should beat a team with -9 passing yards, (btw they also conveniently neglect that we actually did beat them), and then start to trash ZW.
ZW had 240 yards in driving rain, where the opposition could only muster -9 yards! Isn’t this actually a testament how well he did? I get it, he took untimely, unnecessary sacks! But in a condition where two opposing QBs could only combine to achieve 9 yards going backwards, ZW deserves a lot of credits for his performance.

Most rational Jets understand that win is not it. When you come off a bye against a two win team if you’re a legit playoff team you put the inferior team out of their misery. Especially when the opponent played a half with a third stringer who didn’t attempt a pass.
What bothered me about the Michael Kay show was the first 30 min was spent killing the Jets.
Rarely a mention of how fucking bad the Giants were.
To be fair they could’ve gone into the Giants bashing later in the show.
They fawned all over the Giants when they ALMOST beat the Bills. Who we beat by a similar score. AND they’ve been talking the Giants up all last week!
Back to Back drives that allowed us to win this game but all anyone can focus on is the fact that Zach didn’t do it all game. Breece is our RB yet Zach showed he was capable of throwing in heavy rain. Breece was gettin torched every carry after his TD. It was up to our passing game to win the game and he did exactly that. 240 Passing yards in shitty conditions. Why can’t that sink in our own fans minds?🤦♂️
This is the argument Orlovsky made this morning, and I agree with it. 3rd string center and a non existent run game, too. I think we ended the day with like 15 rushing yards. All those things considered, Zach played well.
The jets are 3-0 n 4-3. Zack tied the game with 24. Secs n won in overtime. That’s not the same old jets. Take it. Chargers next
