Off to a rough start and there has been some obvious frustration within the sub. Even though there has been gradual improvement over these past 3 games, at what point does patience run out?
For anyone who was expecting Ime to replace Silas’s “everyone eats” offense with more structure, hierarchy & play calling, the alarm bells should already be ringing.
For the team’s performance record-wise and our hopes of making the playoffs, if we aren’t within 10ish games of .500 by the midway point of the season it’s time to worry.
Where’s the 2024-2025 option?
I think everyone over estimated (myself included) how quickly this ship would turn around. New coach. Lots of new FAs and rookies. No set identity. My alarm bells would go off in 2025-2026 if we pick up the option of FVV after two non playoff seasons.
We just need to see what this team is trying to do.
