As far as a team he’s on being taken seriously, his absolute max ceiling is being the #2 with a Joker or Giannis. Absolute best players on the league. Most realistic role for a serious team would be as a #3/sometimes #4 option. Like Bosh was in Miami or Green was in GS, for instance.
