While Capitalism definitely sucks ass, I feel like no matter what economic system you’re in there’s always going to be some treadmill to walk, because there will always be things you need, and you will need to work to earn them in some way.

Even communism doesn’t just give everybody shit for free

Yes and no. I think the argument is to allow those to reach their full capabilities by removing necessities from the current economic model. Even more so when there’s enough to go around for everyone and still have those that do more to get luxuries. We have poor and starving people in the world because someone wants it that way, and it personally benefits those in power. I like the Star Trek example. All poverty had been solved by simply just providing everyone’s basic needs. Those that want more “work” for it but doesn’t make an individual who wants to live a simple life less deserving of food, water, and shelter. We currently create enough to provide this for every human but simply choose not to. And that level of greed when you are not the one at the top creates that feeling of running on a treadmill

If you treadmill enough eventually you may be Annie too sure a treadmill if your own to put other people in so you no longer have to treadmill anymore.

It definitely happen to you, just keep running in that treadmill and voting for policies that favour the rich, because the more they do well the nicer your treadmill will be!.

Breathing is also bad; it slowly oxidizes your body and causes you to age.

But if you genuinely want to make a case that breathing is truly hate-worthy, you need to present an alternative; something that has a proven, trustworthy track record that still sustains life. As of yet, I haven’t heard one for capitalism.

But, oh, maybe that debate isn’t what you want in memes. Hence, move it to /politicalmemes.

I’m happy to debate politics. I’m happy to analyze why capitalismbad memes are so stupid and reductionist. The question is whether people are actually willing to engage with that conversation here (they’re not, the OP simply called me a bootlicker and left) and whether commenters/mods are willing to address the inevitable flame wars. (Place your votes, people)

If you stand by ALL of that as being important here specifically, go ahead. Otherwise, there’s a reason people decide to split those topics out.
