The narrative has been about Sochan not being a PG. How Tre is the starter, but who is the backup? Why shouldn’t we trade for Murray? He’d be the perfect fit. But, are we truly playing the long game with hopes to draft a PG in the lottery? Even if his exit wasn’t the prettiest.

Well for starters… hawks likely don’t wanna move him.
While he’s talented his lack of shooting doesn’t fix our primary issue and he takes shots away from the youngins; rather just have Trae in that role.
Fallout with him was pretty bitter, doubt he’d wanna come back in the first place and it would probably kill the locker room.
Best move would be to let Tre run things or trade for a cheap stopgap at point (I would love Brogdon) and then see what happens next year. Either draft a point guard or if someone becomes unhappy like a Darius garland or someone we can pursue a trade
Love DJ but he doesn’t fix the spacing issue. Using picks to re-acquire a player we traded away would be stupid. The best way for the guys to develop/improve is to throw them into the fire. Sochan needs the touches.
