This is not an exaggeration, Juju is the only WR that was on the team last year that is no longer here. If you want to include TEs, we also lost our offensive juggernaut Jody Fortson.

I personally think that based on how Juju has played this year, replacing him with Rashee Rice has been a net upgrade for our receiving corps.

Rice is currently averaging 12 yards per reception this year. Last year, Juju averaged 12 yards reception exactly. Rice has had 3 TDs so far this year. Last year, Juju had a total of 3 TDs all season.

    Couple of notes:

    1. Play calling is definitely an issue, and personnel management more so. We should not be rotating our receivers a lot at this point. It would be better to get Rashee more on the field on the outside and use Skyy in the slot. But we’ll see if that changes.

    2. Our receivers are all slot guys and, aside from Rice, are not cut out for the job. They’ve had a whole offseason and more to step up, and they simply haven’t. We’ll have to rebuild in the draft. I do not see a trade happening tomorrow, and even if it does, they won’t be ready for Germany.

This is the same post that has been repeated so many times. JuJu was that reliable #2 to Kelce, as much as Rice has shown he can be that in the future…he as well as other WRs drop passes that JuJu would not.
