struggling to think of a player that would put us over the hump this trade deadline or offseason. ive always thought our issues are less based on roster construction and moreso coaching / underperforming stars in the playoffs. would someone like brogdon or lavine help? or is the better solution just getting solid depth and hoping the new coaching is enough?

Not sure who our new 3/4 is between Oubre, Roco, Batum, KJ Martin and Morris, but just praying Morris gets zero minutes. I’ve watched a fair amount of Clippers last few seasons, and he’s like a Tobias who can’t shoot, can’t rebound and even worse defensively

Normally, no chance you get him but Jazz are far away and he’s 26 going on 27 this season already. That’s too old for when they’re ready.

I think ppl saying the sixers didn’t get much are forgetting the plan was always to flip whatever picks etc we got for a player in return. The picks are a bigger trade piece for us because teams will view sixers and LA’s future picks as valuable since the “window” is viewed as closing soon

Finally some cap and draft flexibility for the first time in forever. Those picks are very good. Hope we don’t turn around and give them all to Masai for one of his overrated players.

I think y’all got fleeced. First off, those unprotected picks won’t be worth much when Ballmer is willing to spend whatever the hell. So when Kawhi and PG are gone, he’s gonna sign another batch of stars which will keep the Clippers out of the top 10 draft range.

I thought if you didn’t get Mann, you at least should have gotten Bones. Bones has been playing well lately. If Bones doesn’t fit the Sixers, you could always flip him for more assets.

If Embiid maintains scoring leader, and looks really good again I actually think the narrative will turn in his favor again for MVP because of all this James Harden stuff I think he will gain the “he’s doing this w/out harden” etc
