I would like to upgrade my offsite Backup Server from Odroid XU4 to a proper ZFS solution, so I can use zfs send to sync pools. I am looking at the Supermicro Tower Server CSE-721TQ-350B. It has 6x Sata Ports. I would like to use 4x 3,5 16TB Drives (Mirror) + 2x SSDs for the OS/VMs (Mirror2).
However, I could not find how or whether it is possible to put in these two extra 2,5 SSDs. There was a mention somewhere that I need an extra bracket, to fix one SSD to the side of the HDD cage, but I could not verify this. Does anyone know?
Apart from this, I am ready to order - anything suspicious to your eye regarding my specs below?
