all I have to say thank god we let him walk for free!

Jimmy G couldn’t lick Carr’s boots - and will be out of the league in 2 years

I’m just going to say “I doubt it.” While we don’t know the true reality of the situation, it’s pretty safe to say McDaniels and Carr didn’t jive. I think the relationship was so toxic they both would’ve dragged each other down. I think we are going to see a repeat of that relationship this year. I think it’s safe to say we know the source of the problem, though.

    Lol

Can we stop with this BS narrative

Yes, jimmy sucks ass hard and Carr is better than him.

But, Carr wasn’t the answer here

In a division with Mahomes you need a QB that’s good in the red zone and consistent

    Just stop !

I was in favor of moving on, but it should have been after this year

Who cares? We got no Carr nor those three wins. Move on.

Carr is so fucking inconsistent though. It got on my nerves. Jimmy G is consistently bad and brittle. I have no expectations with him under center and I expect a loss every time.

I agree. I feel like McDaniels basically tried to force Carr out so that he could bring in “his guy”. You look at the successful coaches in this league, they don’t try and fit the players into “their system”. They bring in a system, but modify it to their players’ strengths because this is a win now league. And they, and their players, are adaptive. The Patriots didn’t run the same scheme for 20+ years, and the 49ers and Eagles (especially the Eagles) changed the way they played. I remember Sirianni’s first year. They kept trying to pass all the time and it wasn’t working. I think it was their game against Detroit where they just ran, ran, ran, and then, that became their foundation when they realized that they could win by 20 playing to their strengths, or lose by 20 trying to change Jalen Hurts into something he’s not.
