Ho hum, Nikola Jokic just recorded another triple double, on 12/16 shooting from the field. His stats and efficiency are so off the charts, the only comparison I can conjure up is playing 2K or another video game where the difficulty settings are too easy.

Some people like putting up those absurd numbers and winning easily, but most get tired of it and adjust the settings to the next level.

And if that happens - if our entire universe is a simulation as part of one chubby kid’s highly advanced NBA game - what happens to us? Us simple NPCs, equivalent to the blurry fans in the stands. Do we get wiped out? Do we “improve” in some way? Why is the media not discussing this?
