Yeah I guess it was just because he was built people thought he’d be a tough defender. But he struggled a lot at Duke with that too.

It’s interesting that his defense is so bad because (from my memory) he was considered a good defender in high school and his dad is a defensive specialist coach. But maybe injuries just wrecked his lateral speed?
I know there are injuries but Grayson Allen is averaging 32.5 minutes, previous career high was 27.5
Worked for Ime!
I think most younger fans remember Jordan (or highlights of Jordan) from the 90s when he had become more of a mid range guy. In the 80s he was just blowing by people with his athleticism like a better Dwade.
You’re right maybe it’s called a sleeper hold because you gently rest the guy in bed.
I think your idea is a much smarter way to do things personally.
Random question but Kevin Martin. In his prime he was at least a leading scorer. The fact that he couldn’t carry that to OKC is an underrated reason that would-be dynasty fell apart.
Chet was an advanced stats god at Gonzaga too. But people were still skeptical because he looked weird.
I think they can be title contenders but I don’t agree with these as the reasons.
I’m old enough to remember LeBron James’ hype. And I think there’s a very good chance Victor would go # 1 over him. If Victor was an American he’d have been a household name from 14 years old on as well.
Basing the “draft hype” or draft value on how they turned out isn’t the right way to do it.
