I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a casual, but I had never played any CRPG before and have sunk 200 hours into BG3. The story is incredible, the mechanics and gameplay take a second to learn if you’ve never played a CRPG or DnD before, but by the time I was level 3 I wasnt struggling anymore. I’d definitely recommend giving it a shot

I’ll probably be the only one, but no. It takes significant mental investment to be good at this game.
