Anyone else sick of this franchise’s obsession with mid-level RB’s with little-to-no breakaway speed? E.g. D’onta Foreman, Carlos Hyde, Rex Burkhead, Lamar Miller, Singletary, Pierce, David Johnson, P. Lindsay, Royce Freeman, Duke Johnson, Mark Ingram…etc.

Like would it kill these guys to get a RB with some speed. Hell we haven’t had a decent RB since Alfred Blue and even he wasn’t the shiftiest/fastest.

    Alfred Blue being our last decent running back is a crazy take.

    But anyways I think the answer is we just haven’t valued running back very highly for better or worse. I don’t mind it the running game not working is more a product of the oline than anything else.
