Patrick will have to continue doing more with less it seems. At this point they may just be long term planning instead of trying to make a wild move to HOPEFULLY win another ring this year (which isn’t guaranteed from one YOLO signing). It just sucks because team morale is important, especially QB morale. It’s one thing for the QB to not get hit but for a QB to have no one to throw to can also be demoralizing. Frustration leads to more mistakes, mistakes we cannot afford to make in the post season. I love this team, I have confidence, I really hope they can make whatever adjustments they need to make this work for the rest of the season.

Also the chiefs are still killing it relatively speaking. 1 bad game isn’t the end of the world

Only thing I’m a bit disappointed in is us not picking up not taking a swing at acquiring Donovan Peoples-Jones. For a fifth/sixth round pick, I think he could had improved the wr corps.

However anyone thinking the Chiefs should trade anything above a 3rd rounder for a WR are being ridiculous. Unless that WR is a stud and we are able to sign him to a long term deal, it would be dumb at this point in Mahomes career and with this team to sell out the future for a rental WR.

The worst WR room in the league stays the same. I’m sure Skyy and Toney will suddenly start playing at a top level. Totally. Looking forward for more 3 and outs, dropped passes, kicking FGs in the red zone, receivers who cant get open and an agitated Mahomes

As for me and my house, we believe that even if we did go for a WR, it would 3 or 4 games before they could be effective. I don’t think you learn this offense in a few days. I’m cool with standing pat. No pun intended. We have the tools. They just have to start playing.

I don’t see how just throwing new guys at the problem is a magical fix all.
