Let’s put this into perspective. Montez Sweat has played 5 years in the NFL. All 5 of his seasons he’s been a very good, consistent, and healthy player. Chase young won DROY, had an awful lead up to blowing out his knee, and has had a good first half to this year. Chase has 1.5 good seasons to Montez’s 5. So, can anyone here explain to me why Chase young should have fetched a hire price?
Chase is not currently worth more than what we got. We openly marketed him and this is what he commanded. That’s the definition of market value.
That doesn’t mean we should have traded him however. Given his upside potential it was a no brainer for the 9ers
They have a warped sense of value playing Madden
Honestly I’d like to see what plays PFF called a “pressure”. Their stats there have not passed the eye test. Maybe I’m wrong.
