I think we might be hearing the phrase “Interim head coach Luke Walton” this season. Yuck.
Can’t wait to see Mobley post his highlights for the game on his IG story
knicks own us sadly
This team is in limbo rn and there’s quite literally nothing we can do but wait, but also we don’t know how long we have to wait. This shit is not fun rn
Tomorrow night is gonna suck too
Y’all need to chill, we’re down 2 starters, Caris, and we don’t match up well against the Knicks. Oh, and it’s game 4, which means it’s basically still preseason. Just get healthy and everything else will work it’s self out.
Honestly is what is you guys… DG, Allen, LeVert hopefully back tomorrow and we’ll get the revenge win. We can’t beat the Knicks without Garland, Allen and our 6th man, big deal. Let’s move on 👍🏻
So George’s making 3s comes at the cost of no one else making 3s?
The people who don’t believe in Mobley probably looked at his silhouette and thought he should play like Kevin Durant. I’m also going to guess these opinions also overlap with thinking Donovan Mitchell should be traded even though hes already one of the best Cavs ever and we need to build around a 20ppg Garland.
6 points from Mobley? Bullshit. He’s got to develop more of an offensive game.
Mobley does have touch around the rim and a few one dribble moves to penetrate the paint along with patience to draw fouls. The man is not a complete no show around the rim like how some people would describe him, definitely not a pure lob merchant. He also has a passing game that people conveniently forget about/
However he does not have a jumper or a big frame to deal with contact. And him next to Allen is a tough puzzle to figure out. The addition of Strus should help in an Allen/Mobley lineup, it’s why I hated Okoro’s fit so much. The thing is Okoro is probably our hardest working player who always keeps his head up so I see why JB and the fans love Okoro.
Knicks were bringing help on drives and Mitchell wasnt passing much or if he was passing, the open guy wasnt making those shots Also Mobley, scoring not as well today
Porter is bad — don’t really get what people see there. Court vision and awareness is not good for a PG but has a solid handle.
Sam Merrill is a hidden gem — his shooting is special but does the rest of his game make him a liability? At this point probably but hopefully longterm he becomes bench flame thrower.
Bates is intriguing but it’s pretty clear he doesn’t know how to play team basketball. Raw skills look good but he’s at least a year or two away from being a legit rotation player.
Tristan looked good tonight — watching in realtime I guessed he had the best +/- of anyone and sure enough he did. He should rightfully be ahead of Jones in the rotation and should start at C until Allen is back instead of Mobley who should be the PF.
Wade still sucks. 16 minutes of legit nothing.
