Who do you guys prefer and think is the better player? Why does Kat demand so much more in a trade if he and randle have such similar stats?
Prefer Randle. They are so damn similar, but Randle is bulletproof (knock on wood)
Randle is the better player and a better fit on a team with championship aspirations. Unless you’re Jokic you aren’t going to win with a negative defender at the center position
It’s just a bonus that Randle makes half as much

Because of KATs contract, I think Minnesota would have to throw in first round picks in a KAT for Randle Swap. Randle + matching salary for KAT + 2-3 first round picks, and I’d at least consider it if I were Leon Rose. No picks, no deal.
Why either or and not both?
KAT is better in a vacuum. but he’s always hurt, and makes alot more money.
on the flip side, KAT has shown he can play well in the playoffs, he’s a better shooter/floor spacer, and he fits with Brunson and RJ better. He can play WITH those guys instead of just taking turns the way Randle and Brunson do now.
I’d be for it but it’s not a slam dunk. It would probably cost Randle and IQ.
Prefer Randle for sure in almost every aspect except scoring/outside shooting. Even then idk if I like KAT in those aspects enough to put him over Julius
