It’s not hard to understand once you look past the box score, and actually watch the games. A player can average 5 assists per game and still be a ball-stopper.

He’s like Julius Randle
Never see mid 3 in this subreddit. Maybe rnba but can’t control that, besides Bulls are the real mid 3 in the nba right now.
they should’ve called a technical foul for his out-of-control clapping
Leave Randle and Grimes on the bench the rest of the way
Fans clamoring for Zach Wilson
I would now like for the Timberwolves to win the 2024 NBA Title so we can see Edwards in the NFL the following year.
Timberwolves are a slightly better version of the Knicks right now. TWolves also have a brutal history, very physical team right now, dpoy calibrr centers and defense.
Knicks should throw this kid a contract in RFA
What a matchup between the Knicks and Wolves, 2 of the NBAs most physical teams. Randle and Mitch Robinson vs KAT and Gobert, throw in Edward’s physicality, it’s a physical matchup.
Having a guy like Mitch who does all the dirty work makes you appreciate a guy like Gobert who does the dirty work.
Thank god for Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks
The draft is a crap shoot and the odds of nailing the picks in the late lottery are low. Between Frank and Knox we went 0/2, but so did others. Only 1 team got SGA, 1 team got Mikal, 1 team got Donovan Mitchell. Picking 8-20 is tough you have like a 25% chance to draft a stud and we whiffed hard on both.
We made up for it with Mitch, Grimes and IQ. I’d say Knicks last 6-8 years of drafting have been average - slightly above average. Oh well.
Seems like he’s pretty good. Taking the Embiid route. Maybe there’s something strategically smart to sitting your lotto pick their rookie year, putting them into a hyperbolic skills-training & strength-training chamber, and having them come out animals on the other end.
Chet’s career trajectory has a high variance, but the high end is for sure being an MVP candidate.
2nd in ROY race behind Chet
Outside of OPs top 3, it’s a big cluster of guys 4-12.
While JB is not 4-5, he is closer to 4-5 than he is to 15-16. It’s a large bucket of guys ranging from solidly above average to low level all star / low end all-NBA.
JB ain’t an average PG, he’s solidly above average.
Brunson may not make a ton of all star teams, he is somewhere near the 30th best player in the NBA right now which is incredibly solid. In the playoffs he is better than 30th. Happy with him as our PG.
Randle doesn’t have Draymond’s instant and high-quality decision making in the short roll. Or someone like Steph to play off of. Or Draymond’s screen-setting ability.
