Genuine question as he’s pretty much only playing garbage time through 4 games. Seems kind of weird for a young team to not play their 6th overall pick

I never understood the pick even on draft night as he seemed like a poor fit with the roster given his lack of shooting but can Magic fans explain?

The league has too much talent at this point. An expansion is desperately needed. Lottery picks used to be a shoe-in to get major rotation minutes.

Needed for who? Expansion is not good for fans. It’s okay if teams have little “too much” talent IMO

The Magic have too many guards

    Way too many guards

And they still drafted him and another guard in Jett Howard

Can’t complain about the latter since they gave us Dick

Orlando is one of the deepest teams in the league with guys who are ‘good’ or ‘could be good’. Black is at the end of that bench because he’s a rook.

So why is Scoot getting so many minutes then? I guess shooting 5% from 3 with more turnovers than assists is what earns you playing time in Portland

Scoot Henderson is currently a starter over Malcolm Brogdon, and will most likely be the reason Sharpe goes back to the bench once Simons returns

6th overall picks bust more than hit. Everything after the top three is a gamble. And top three isn’t all that great anyway.
