    Dude was part of the problem imo. Sorry rookie Tua wasn’t Tom Brady. Can’t wait to beat him and the Ravens this year

      I mean, he pretty vehemently denies being the guy going to the media, and he’s also very complimentary towards Tua in this video.

    I don’t know how seriously to take this considering players lie just as much as coaches do. It definitely sounds like Flores was the biggest weight on the team and culture at that time though. I remember how icky everything seemed between the Van Noy thing, Tua, Watson, and later even with Flores himself after his firing. The team was just leaking loads of bullshit from all sides and it felt like this was just a sloppy, unfixable team.

    I was pretty excited for McDaniel since A) he’s a new face rather than some also-ran and B) he’s a funny, nerdy dweeb like me so I have someone in the NFL to relate to, but holy shit he’s been so much better than I ever could have expected, and not just schematically. This team has a whole different aura around it that makes Flores look worse every week.
