I know we are used to competing for championships but I am excited about rebuilding. It will be an interesting journey as we build around key pieces that we already have.
We have a lot of young talent on small contracts. Including Quay, LVN, Tom, Doubs, Watson, Musgrave, Kraft, Love, Brooks, etc. Not all of those guys will pan out but we also don’t have to resign them.
Plus we have key pieces already locked up like Clark, Alexander, Gary, Jenkins. Granted that’s not 53 players, but it’s not like we are starting from scratch.
I know this is a “nothing” post but since there’s so much negativity around the state of team I just wanted to say that I’m going to enjoy this process.
Most importantly, we will be contending again before the Bears come close.
Me too. People are too ignorant and full of hate for Gute to understand the process takes time. It’s not gonna be pretty for a little while, but it wasn’t pretty for Detroit, Philly, or San Fran. We’ll be back and the haters in this sub will act like they believed all along.
Gute wasted the time he had already.
Me too man. Appreciate the positivity!
I would be excited about the rebuild if Gute wasn’t in charge.
Quiet! No optimism is allowed on this subreddit! And if you celebrate anything good, you must be criticized weeks later when things are going bad! If you don’t like it, leave!
That’s what I thought about this year! All I wanted was a steady improvement each game, but somehow we are going backwards.
