Short week, injured QB. The focus of the game plan should be running the ball. Also is Najee ever going to be an aggressive between the tackles RB? If he isn’t I don’t see how he can be a starting RB in NFL. Great time for him to do it.

Titans have one of the best run D’s in the league
Disappointed I had to scroll this far to find this comment. We definitely don’t need to be establishing the run. We need to take advantage of their trash secondary
Titans’ d-line is fantastic. Secondary isn’t good. Their best player on the back end was just traded away.

Man I can’t really recall us doing RB screens…? Screens in general? We are doing the bare minimum and hardly anything to keep defenses honest. We need to have more deception across the board because it’s just too easy to tee off on us.
I would be on board with your thought process if our opponent wasn’t the Titans. They have one of the leagues, best run defenses, and one of the worst passing defenses. And unlike Jacksonville they are not very good at getting interceptions. We probably are gonna pass as much as we did last week.
Ok. I asked because I knew what you would say “the O Line is terrible” and of course you are right. You are smart football fans. But why? Their collective draft status is pretty good for o line. And 2/3 that came from other teams were pretty accomplished NFL players: Seumalo 3 round pick proven starter with another successful team
Daniels 2 round pick proven NFL starter with Bears
Cole 3 round pick not very accomplished kind of a journeyman but started a lot of games with 3 NFL teams
Okorafor 3 round pick
Moore 4 round pick probably a career backup at best but Steelers traded up to draft Broderick to replace Broderick Steelers traded up in first round and still not good enough to start? WTH? Bottom line these guys should be able to work together to open holes for backs with Najee and Warren’s talent. If they are not talented enough who evaluated them and said they were? That person should no longer have a job. If they are talented enough but are not being taught/coached the right way- that person should no longer have a job. This team tells you every chance they get they want to run the ball. Something has to change
we should have more designed QB runs for kenny. Kenny is super atheletic but the plays are catered for an elite pocket passer which kenny is not. Canada wants to dink and dunk all the way to the endzone and sure that can work with the 2000 patriots but this is the 2023 steelers you need to be creative.
