I expected to hear his name a bit more than we have this season during games, and with Leonard coming in I don’t imagine we’ll be hearing it more. That being said I haven’t been focusing on him either, so I definitely can’t say he is doing poorly.
How is the sub feeling about that trade pickup so far?

He’s playing well. The whole DL is doing a good job. If the inside guys are eating double teams and take bodies away from the edges, that’s super valuable. After a slow start, the pass rush has really come alive. Dre is a huge part of that.
His highlights show that he often had success when lined up wide. Hopefully he’ll have more opportunities now that Williams is in the mix. I think he’s done ok in the 2-fronts but it’s obvious that it is not his strength.
He’s been steady but not spectacular.
Honestly, about what I expected.
I think it was the most recent hawkblogger pod I heard this: he’s taking on a lot of double teams.
So if Williams does the same that should free Jones up and Williams is good enough to beat doubles on his own.
