When I drove my car to work this morning (2007 Hyundai Sante Fe 150k M) the steering wheel started to get jerked around after a hard stop. I figured it could have been ice, but I kept starting to lose control of the car, so I pulled over and got it towed. The Mechanic said the ball joints were bad but the undercarriage of driver side was so rusted out that he couldn’t even work on my car if I wanted to. It’s still at the shop now. Was already told this Is this most likely the end of my car. Wondering if I should even waste my time getting it evaluated by a frame shop or just start looking around for a new car?

Idk what a frame shop is, but these are unibody and there really isn’t any good way to remove the amount of corrosion that I’m sure they’re claiming.

I would at least get eyes on it for yourself.
