He’s terrible. That’s it. How is he still employed? I don’t understand my Tomlin has been so tolerant of his historically terrible offense of so long. The argument that “we need to keep the OC for Kenny’s development” doesn’t work because Canada isn’t developing Kenny. I truly don’t understand why Tomlin wants to let this guy finish his contract when we should’ve fired him just like McDaniels got fired from the Raiders. Tomlin and the Rooney family should absolutely be held accountable for keeping this absolute conman of a coach. Shame on all of them for keeping that doofus around and shame on the “Pittsburgh Demon” aka the “The Curse” aka “The Canadian Devil” aka Matt Canada.

A thought that’s been rattling around in my head, is perhaps it’s not Tomlin tolerance that keeps him around, it’s Tomlins self perseverance that does. Canada is clearly drawing all the fire, keeping some heat off Tomlin. Tomlin clearly doesn’t seem to have superbowl ambitions, he seems to be content with staying a shade over mediocre. 9-10 win seasons. No threat for a deep run. Maybe it’s Tomlin demanding an ultra conservative offense. Let our defense bail us out and limp to never a losing season. Certainly, play calling and design are an issue, and the easy target is Canada. That’s actually the direction I lean as most here. However, Tomlin at the end of the day, is the man who makes the decisions. All fault lands on him. Unless of course its the Rooneys in which case we are fucked.

Well the rumors are that Art himself wanted Canada, and is the one who told Tomlin that he’s staying. Also, the team really doesn’t fire staff before their contracts are up. They don’t want to pay them out their contract while they sit at home, plus pay the replacement. I get the sentiment, but when it’s THIS bad, am exception should be made.
