I can’t wait for the game this weekend and if we can pull out the win, it will be great to have a little cushion in the standings going into the midpoint of the season. That being said, I saw the Lions schedule and it’s really easy….they will definitely be in the race for the top seed in the conference. I know a lot of you will say they aren’t worried about the Lions, but the playoffs going through Philly just makes me feel way better….hopefully I’m wrong but looking at their schedule it just seems like they might have the edge because we have a bunch of hard games coming up.
On the other hand we still have the Giants twice.
Detroit is a really good team! But forget about them right now….If the Eagles lose this weekend (and Dallas wins during our bye week) Dallas will be sitting in 1st place of the division, along with the #1 seed in the NFC. And the eagles will be the sitting in the #5 spot as a wild card team.
Dallas is the biggest threat to the #1 seed if we don’t beat them this weekend…They have to win this division first and foremost!
(Don’t be like Phillies fans who spent the last 2 weeks of the season talking about if they wanted to see the Astros or Rangers in the WS. Gotta focus on the thing that matters most before looking ahead. and right now that’s winning this division)
You do realize we’re not on the team and what we talk about on Reddit means fuckall, right?
Last I checked that day-1 locked in mental grind of yours didn’t stop Nick Castellanos from dooking his pants and ending on a 20+ whiff streak.
Speak for yourself. This is Bryson Stott’s burner account bitch.
You always hope for the 1 seed in the conference to get home field and the BYE week to recover but we’re a great road team AND our fans travel better than any franchise so if we have to play in Detroit, at least half that stadium will be Eagles fans
If there’s anything I learned from this past MLB postseason with the Phillies, NEVER EVER EVER look past who’s next on the schedule. I can give 0 fucks about January right now. We got the Cowboys on Sunday.
