If KAT continues to play defense the way he is, top 5 defense is well within reach.

Naz Reid is no longer just a solid player, fun story kind of player. He is a straight up monster and unironically one of the most skilled bigs in the NBA. His footwork and ball handling skills are immaculate. He might be a legit 6MOY candidate type player this season.

Feels like a fake win for some reason.

Timberwolves aactually had at least 9 players in double digit minutes for once. Finch will go right back to 8 and throw games away after this.

Early in game, Ant has this shake and bake moment to score 2, then he races back and steals a pass on defense. Back down the other end Towns is getting stopped at the rim but goes out of bounds to save the ball and pass out to Conley for a 3. This little three possession swing our way put the Wolves up 9-0 with 8 minutes left in 1st q. But Towns is clearly standing out of bounds, like a foot and a half out of hounds, “saving” that ball. As they go to tv break they show the replay and yep there he is. One of his legs is completely out of bounds as he swings it back to Conley.

If not for Ant’s hustle being real those few posessions I already was feeling like the league was trying to keep this fanbase from just quitting on this team. The game just felt like a freebie from the Nuggs and the league. Refs are usually on this team’s nuts for everything. Timberwolves had a 27 to 10 FT attempts advantage. When does that ever?
