Hey everyone, I’m seeking recommendations for a great winter wheel and tire combo. I’m excited to be getting a new (well, new to me) 997.2 C4 this weekend or even as early as Thursday/Friday. It currently has Cup2s all around, and I’m eager to take it for a spin on the back roads of upstate NY before the weather turns really cold. With temperatures expected to drop below 0°C (32°F) next week, and having some time off from work, I’m prepping for winter. The car will have 305/30/19 tires at the back, and I’m finding it challenging to find suitable winter tires in this size. From what I’ve read, it seems I’ll also need to get two new wheels for the rear. Does anyone have suggestions for the best tire/wheel combination for my situation, or is there another approach I should consider?

Part of my enthusiasm for getting the C4 is the prospect of enjoyable winter drives and ski trips on those perfect post-snow days when the roads are clear and the sun is shining.
