Havertz isn’t it. Vieira isn’t it.
That left 8 is a black hole for us at the moment and we could’ve fixed it over summer but arguably made it worse.
The way we went out in the Carabao cup is embarrassing. I’d understand if we played youngsters but that was essentially our B team and we messed up big time.
The target this season should be minimum a trophy and challenging for the league again.
I’m starting to wonder if people here even watch the games or watch it with a blindfold.
I’ll admit in midfield this season Havertz has been poor whilst being good when up front but in the first half yesterday he was genuinely our best player.
Then we lose the game after conceding 3 goals from 0.45 xG and I’m seeing everyone blaming Havertz.
Sure, he still has a lot to prove but yesterday is not the time to do it. He looked sharper, was getting past players and making decisive passes whilst putting in great recovery tackles. Could have done better in the box but was otherwise impressive.
If any players should be criticised it should be Ramsdale, Zinny and Eddie who I thought were abysmal.
I had the same question yesterday. Either people are blinded by their agenda or “watching” games by reading match thread.
Kai is not playing great so far, but yesterday I saw some nice progress in him. In the first half he was one of our best players.
I don’t understand why he is the most criticized player after the last game.
Confidence goal for Odegaard No injuries Less games to play
Could have been worse all in all!
Now chanting “Champions of Europe…” and then booing the bloke who captained you through it…however
Ramsdale thanks for the memories, but Arteta is not starting you until the Fa Cup begins 🫡
Just glad we dodged an away trip to Anfield honestly
For all the credit he’s gotten, would you REALLY consider Partey a successful signing? Dude has missed a shit ton of games, the fact that most of them were big fixtures made it even worse. And he didn’t come cheap, he cost £50m and over 200 grand a week in wages.
Visit Rwanda on the sleeves whilst Rwanda enable and facilitate an ongoing genocide in Congo rn. Sponsoring a country that have killed thousands, millions displaced, with women raped. All for the sake of exploiting Congo’s rich natural resources i.e coltan.
Africans killing their own people with the beneficiaries being the usual suspects in the west facilitating this genocide. Pray for Congo
Coltan is primarily used to make capacitors in basically all of our electrical devices and even electrical component in our cars.
Especially our phones.
Every time anyone trades in their iPhone or Samsung for the newest annual release, they are inadvertently helping to perpetuate this.
Not to be a downer, but this goes way beyond a kit sponsorship for your favorite football team.
There’s more attacking midfielders at the club then there has been in a while, but none of them fit the one midfield role we need. Kind of crazy that aside from Rice, we really don’t have a box to box profile at the club that can even remotely replicate things Xhaka did.
Even in the League cup, Jorge and Zina can’t play together.
We really do need another deep Midfielder. Possession based teams are only as good as their build up
As much as another attacker would be fun this takes priority
I couldn’t care less that we’re out of the League Cup. It’s always been about rotation and giving a few fringe players a chance, and there’s absolutely no reason to risk key players before the semi-finals.
we have depth but it only works when Arteta drip feeds them into the starting 11, yesterday it was too many changes in one go. We can’t use the random team generator like Pep, yet.
