The people who scratched their heads over the Giddey pick and getting some vindication now. It’s looking like Presti may have outsmarted himself instead of the rest of the league with that pick.

Giddey has a few insane skills and size, but he shits the bed far too often, figuratively speaking. His shot needs work. He will probably not be a consistently good shooter as long as he shoots off his palm (pushes the ball) instead of shooting it normally off of his finger tips.

What is worse than having Giddey play poorly for the Thunder? Paying Giddey an insane salary to play poorly for the Thunder.

The team is going to have to give a really hard/fair/critical view of the situation prior to paying Giddy a mega deal.

Thunder have a lot of upcoming talent but I don’t see Giddey as a core piece going forward.
