My pick is Anthony Edwards. He’s great, but people talking about MVP potential need to slow it down.

Having browsed this sub for several years now, and seeing the direction it’s taken, I think you would be hard pressed to find a player who is overrated since so many people like to shit on EVERYBODY.

LeBron is amazing, but gets shit on.

Harden is declining and is properly shit on.

    Westbrook gets shit on.

    Leonard. Shit on.

    PG. Shit on.

    AD. Shit on.

In fact, I’m surprised that there are any fans on this subreddit since everybody seems to hate everybody in this league.

The only guy who doesn’t really get shit on is Joker, but he’s the reigning MVP and defending champ, so he’s not being overrated.

So with that said, despite the hate he gets, I’d have to say that Kyrie is most likely the most overrated player because there still seems to be a disgusting number of people who think that, his personal issues aside, he actually makes a positive contribution on the floor when he’s only putting up numbers that make him look good.

Second would be his teammate: Luka.

    Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland.

Talented guys but not even sniffing the real stars. Regular season merchants who become one way players in the playoffs

Josh Giddy. Tall playmaker but can’t shoot and can’t defend at a high level.

After the first 2 games of the season, the correct answer is Anthony Davis. Hands down.

LMAO who’s a young basketball player expected to make an unrealistic leap despite that rarely being the case once you hit a certain level of development.

Bam Adebayo - how this dude at 25 years old has more All-Defense selections(4) than Smart (3), JJJ(2), Brook(2), Marc Gasol(1), Myles Turner(0), Sheed(0), Bynum(0), Jermaine O’Neal(0), and many more is beyond me… there’s only a handful of guys currently in the league that have 4+ selections (PG, Kawhi, CP3, Giannis, Gobert, Draymond, AD, and Jrue) like he has the same number of selections as AD, Jrue, and PG… he’s very good but i just find him overrated and that’s my subjective opinion

this one will sting to admit but Pacers fans very much overrate Andrew Nembhard right now - he’s got amazing potential and has stepped up for big moments but he’s only played one year for a bottom-10 Pacers team. fans really told me they wouldn’t trade him for Jrue when he was available from Portland and like sure timing wise i get it but Nembhard is our backup PG and competing against TJ McConnell who can just as well fill that role…if we can get a difference maker player who can start and fill a need for the Pacers I would definitely consider trading Nembhard to make that happen

Brunson - i’m here to ignite the rivalry between Indy and NYK again and Brunson got John Starks written all over him to me. Hope Haliburton can be our Reggie.
