First of all I want to say thank you to the Galatasaray fans who gave us a wonderful Champions League evening.

Regarding the game I want to commend Gala for what they invested into the game and how much they ran. Their pressing was really impressive and put Bayern into a chokehold that they didn’t know how to get themselves out of. At times it was a bit harakiri with no one in counter prevention as we saw with the 0-1. The deciding factor in the end was Gala not being able to score from one of the many chances they had. Around the 70th minute, Gala ran out of gas and Bayern completely picked them apart when the space was there.

Bayern needs to be better than this if they want to go far in this tournament especially since the passing was horrendous and the midfield non-existent. They also have to learn how to minimize easy loss of the balls.

Galatasaray should make it through the groups if they are able to convert there chances. They need to learn how to control there energy better and that LB is a liability

Ulreich did a great job, bittersweet to see him in a back-up role again soon
