I don’t know the ins and outs of the process - is it a failing by his agent or the front office? Of course you’ll see plenty of comments saying “same old Commanders” because, at face value, it feels a bit Snyder-ish, and I can’t really blame anybody for feeling that way. I also wouldn’t blame Chase for feeling a bit pissed about not hearing from the team directly before the news broke.

If this was a mishandling by the front office, this can’t continue going forward.

    I don’t know why people are defensive about this. This is the same front office that has been a humiliation all these years. It’s Snyder’s front office. Harris has yet to clean house. Of course they suck.

    That said, it’s also the front office that chose young. He sucks too.
