I think there’s a good chance he starts next year. The gm and hc will stick with cheap, young players to prove themselves. After that first season, though, I think it depends on how he and the team play. I said 50/50 bc he might get a new coordinator and hopefully a new oline.

We can’t do anything other than bitch about it, but one would hope a general manager would be able to see qb is one of the few spots we need to worry about. If they go in a draft a qb and then a punter, can we do anything? No. But we’d lose any faith in him and Harris.

Is Howell a top 5 qb? No. Do we have other, more important needs? Yes. And the gm better draft accordingly.

I don’t know why people are defensive about this. This is the same front office that has been a humiliation all these years. It’s Snyder’s front office. Harris has yet to clean house. Of course they suck.

That said, it’s also the front office that chose young. He sucks too.
