Starting to be a bit concerned about Al. I think his age was starting to show in the playoffs last year, definitely in his 3 point shooting. When you don’t have your legs under you it’s going to impact your shot. This year, 6 games in he’s 25% from 3.

I felt like his age really showed on Monday night against the Timberwolves.

As we get deeper into the season I don’t think Al can be relied upon as much, especially from an offensive output.

We still have the Grant TPE left, but not sure what Brad will get out of that when you package it with picks. Otto Porter Jr., maybe? Who knows.

Until then, we have 14 players signed to the active roster, why not use that final spot on someone like JaMychal Green.

I feel like Green would be able to come in for a few minutes per game and stretch the floor and do what Grant did and hit 1 or 2 corner threes.

Last year with the Warriors he shot 38% from 3 which is respectable.

Very low risk signing that could have a nice reward.

Been saying it since the playoffs: Father Time catches us all. Al is not useless, but he is below 30% from 3 going back to the playoffs, and his percentage is going down with lower volume, which is a terrible sign. As sad as it is, I don’t think this is going to improve, as 37 year old NBA players don’t improve overall. I don’t think Al is going to be a reliable offensive option for us any more, and this will become an issue in high leverage games because our next best bench option is Pritchard.

Al isn’t going anywhere trade-wise, but if Pritchard doesn’t take a step forward this year with the bigger role, he might. We need someone to at least keep defenses honest, and right now it’s not happening. Hopefully this situation fixes itself internally with Pritchard and/or Hauser stepping up for Al as an offensive option, but if not we might need to make a move

I think Al comes and goes in spurts and coming off the bench will help him. That dunk the other night against the Pacers, I think it was, showed the clock rewinding. But yes, I think another piece that can rotate around Horford and Kornet would be nice. I was hoping to see Queta more and the blowouts have been a perfect opportunity to see how well he gels with the rest of the team, but it’s a shame with his injury.

I think it’s a matter of consistency and health with our guys. As long as they’re healthy and not popping out babies, the season is ours.

Yeah I’ve been saying for months JaMychal Green would be a great fit for us.

I also look forward to finding a cheap impactful wing like Otto Porter Jr or Torrey Craig.

Having a bench with JaMychal Green, Porter or Craig, Horford would be solid. I’m just assuming PP would get traded along with 1 other bench guy

Shooting is like the last thing we need from Al

All that matters is that he can hold up against the Gianni’s’, Joel’s and Jokics of the world

What opportunities do we see in the buy out market later in the season?
