Tannehill had stated last year in regards to mentoring malik willis and i quote “Not my job”. Yet today information has come out that tannehill has been mentoring Levis. What the hell is going on? Why the inconsistencies with his behaviour towards the 2 QBs? I think we know why.

I mean… he was asked about it last year and said he’ll do whatever, one off hand comment doesn’t mean he wasn’t doing everything to he could to help.

I don’t think it’s right to attack him. He’s been our best QB since Mac9 and has been a stand up teammate the entire time.

Too much reading into the media circus.

The guy was coming off a bad playoff game where the titans had the no.1 seed and essentially lost a prime opportunity at a super bowl due to his mistakes. He was the starting QB at a press conference where he was trying to show he was focusing on the new season and moving on from that loss and someone asked him if he was going to be mentoring his potential replacement. In that moment he said it was not his job to mentor Willis, it was to win football games.
This year he has been demoted to back up QB. Of course his mentality will have changed. If Willis was able to take advantage of any of the opportunities given to him we would be having this same conversation with him as the starter. Levis came in and took the job, Willis came in and fumbled it.

    I think we know why.

Of all the narratives I’ve heard here over the last several months, this is the biggest stretch.
