I get not liking him as a coach, but blaming this loss on him is plain silly and obvious scapegoating lol. We were missing a ton of players, didnt have a real center, couldn’t hit a shot, were not boxing out, made poor decisions in transition, and just plain didnt play hard enough most of the time. None of those things are at the fault of a coach. Plain and simple. I know yall are emotional, and confused, and scrambling for someone to blame, but calm down cuz this man is not guilty! (for tonight)
It really is strange how much of the blame is being passed to him tonight in this subreddit lol. Reddit is funny.
Lol… you’re funny…
He was hired to be a players coach who installed a mindset of playing hard with effort and defense. He wasn’t hired for X’s and O’s.
They’re not bringing effort or defense (defense and 1st quarters are historically low statistically). He’s not setting a tone he was hired to set.
It’s obviously not all his fault because he can’t play for the players or make them hit shots that they’re missing, but he’s not helping in the way he’s supposed to.
All Ham can do is talk a good game, but he can’t coach one. Fire him, he has ZERO offensive schemes that work consistently for system players like Prince, Wood and Reddish to get easy buckets.
He can’t get any effort out of his guys
From Day 1 hes been one of the worst “coaches” in the league. Dont even consider him a coach. Its like having Gilbert Arenas on the sidelines coaching. Hes just a former player with some motivational words sometimes, he has no strategy in place 9/10 times and that hasnt changed since the day he was hired
I look forward to the day hes canned, the position can stay vacant for all I care
