Is donavon Mitchell holding back the growth of garland and Mobley

The year before Donavan came garland was an all star and Mobley was looking good

Watched Donavan a lot since we played the jazz 4 times a year and this guy is just a 1on1 iso chucker.

Not a fan of this guy at all

Garland put up the same exact numbers last year as he did in his all star season, so nothing changed there. To just call Mitchell a one on one iso chucker is complete bullshit. Try watching the Cavs play and actually watch Mitchell and how much better the Cavs are with him. Mobley just isn’t a big time scorer like Davis or Giannis. It’s also too soon to really judge him this year. Not to mention he’s only 22 still and he’s still playing at PF most of the time.

That’s a pretty bad take in my opinion. An iso chucker?

He’s been an absolute beast since he got to Cleveland, and even though one of his main strengths is iso scoring, he does play with the flow of the offense, when it works. For example, take a look at the last game against the Warriors.

When he does take more iso shots it’s mostly because he has to carry a load of the offense that just isn’t hitting their shots that night.

This season he has done so though incredible efficiency at the rim, prior to tonight. He was scoring 13ppg with 80% fg at the rim.

Is he holding players back? Possibly, just like most 1st options on any team
