Ice seems to want the dirty work. He sometimes buys into the offense and becomes a scorer

Lot harder to defend without your best perimeter defender

He’s the only point of attack defender on the entire team, it’s crazy they’ve never addressed this and instead sign multiple backup centers instead.

There are no point of attack defenders besides Okoro on the entire team.

Lamar Stevens and okoro are the hard nosed guys we need for physicality. Donovan is a beast, but he needs his junkyard dogs ready to throw down if needed.

Probably, especially against teams that can, and will, attack our guards all night. He is the only guy who can stay in front of guys like SGA and Cam Thomas. I’d also say he doesn’t foul often, but since he is always guarding the other team’s “best player,” that’s not how the refs see it.

I love Okoro but no… we looked as good as we did offensively all year against GS and I think it’s due partly to having more shooting threats getting minutes.

Definitely missed on defense, but I think he does the opposite of glue on offense at the moment until he can find some consistency in his jumper

A lot of downvotes and no comments… ok. I am not saying I think Okoro isn’t valuable. Of course he is… he’s one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA. We need him on the team.

But I see a glue guy as someone who can help hold the whole system together. I think the offense functions better with Okoro off the floor is my point. Does that mean he’s trash and should be cut from the roster? Absolutely not. But to say he’s the “glue guy” that unlocks our team being able to perform I think is also disingenuous
