If Ivey isn’t going to be starting Sasser seems like the best fit next to Cade at the 2, especially with the 3-4-5 of Ausar/Stew/Duren. He can handle and pass the ball without turning it over a ton and he’s our best shooter with Bojan out, he’d help the most with spacing and taking care of the ball which is probably our 2 biggest issues right now offensively.

I’d like to see Cade and Ivey starting, Sasser first off the bench for whichever is struggling, Killian kept as the fourth guard for defensive purposes.

    Burks takes backup 3 spot.

Cade, Ivey, and Sasser would give big Isiah/Joe D/Vinnie vibes. They were great at going with the guy who was hot - they’d take turns.

Also - a reminder that Sasser is a year older than Cade, and two years older than Ivey. Give these guys some time.

It would be nice if the team didn’t completely tank ivey’s value before inevitably trading him

Not every offensive weapon needs to start, the bench is in desperate need currently for firepower and Sasser is providing that.

Sasser coming off the bench into the game staggering in is Part of Why he’s doing good like this.

You inject him into the starting lineup…don’t be surprised with how these numbers change.

How Monty is implementing him into the games IS the best way to use him already.
