Both the Suns and Warriors have a lot of positives to take from this one. Suns are gonna win a whole lot of games…their role players are gonna thrive playing off their stars and Beal is gonna be the second playmaker/ballhandler this team really lacked today and it was a glaring absence. Booker/KD (and Beal) gravity elevates their teammates. Booker’s become a solid playmaker and Nurk is great in the PnR.

Nurk and Okogie size, physicality, and Okogie’s energy, was way too much for the Warriors to deal with. The backups were able to push back but not the starters. Starting lineup too small and didn’t match the intensity Okogie and Nurk were bringing to the table. Gordon had multiple strong defensive possessions late and made a few threes…he’s gonna look a lot better when he’s playing off the ball as we saw at the end with Book on the ball, than he did most of the game as the lead ballhandler.

Warriors biggest question mark going forward beyond their lack of size is whether they can find that true second option to Steph offensively. I love how aggressive as a scorer CP3 was today…can he survive that way, playing huge minutes, still pretty ball dominant. I enjoy how he was pushing the ball up the floor today more than we have seen of him the last year.

Warriors schedule is extremely difficult ahead and if Draymond can’t return they are looking at probably being in a hole record wise unless they can turn around their road woes.

Anyone know why that person was escorted out? I tuned in after whatever happened. Was someone hurt?

Steph 4-14 from 3 damn. In a 4 pt loss that doesn’t look good.

I feel like it would be more efficient if he kept 3fga to below 10 and tried going for more midrange.

I’ve had a rough weekend plus beginning of week sports teams losing. I’m Pakistani. We lost to Afghanistan over the weekend in the World Cup of cricket(first time they beat us in 50 over match). 49ers lose to Vikings last night. Dubs lose tonight.

Having the ball in Paul’s hands really helped with the overall turnovers for the Warriors. 11 is historically low for this group.

Random complaint, but the announcers referring to Jordan Goodwin as just “Goodwin” like 10+ times without ever saying his first name annoyed me.

I was on a DVR delay so didn’t want to look it up and get spoiled on the score.

I kept blanking on his name… Is it Archie? Is he back in the league?

Announcers, especially in early season games, when a little-used player gets some run on a new team, please say their first name a time or two!
