The league would never roll with that. Imagine how it would look when the Suns are up by 50 to start the 4th quarter and then keep all their starters in for 9+ minutes to try and push the lead to 70. People in the arena would be leaving after the 3rd quarter.
And nobody wants to watch someone run up the score when they’re already up by a lot. It’s not high competition, it’s just unwatchable. Booker is wrong on this one.
Plus, player stats would be artificially inflated and someone winning the scoring title would then literally have an asterisk next to it.
Oh hi, Mark.
Put League of Legends on hold and make the mmo, pronto.
Thanks.
We need a 7 footer, people. We need rebounds.
A good example why he’s been Defensive Player of the Year thrice in four years. Defense is his bread and butter.
Brutalizer was pretty much a must buy first item for AD junglers. I remember that.
Not to mention, every guest he has on the stream is just a part of his echo chamber. They all agree with how LS thinks and they just have this circlejerk on every topic or opinion.
Whenever public personalities or people in general function the way you described, it reminds me of the Obi-Wan Kenobi quote from Revenge of the Sith: “Only a sith deals in absolutes.”
And that’s how a lot of these personalities function in the LoL community, on their stream, etc. There is no room for growth in their eyes, things are either great or they’re shit, there is very very rarely any gray area for them.
They deal in absolutes.
I sometimes wonder how Steph really feels about Draymond at this point. I know they won titles together back in the day and Draymond was an important piece, but I do wonder if he has just grown to tolerate the guy instead of liking him. Idk.
My take on the whole thing is that if the age of consent is 16 in Australia and Oklahoma, fine, date a 16 year old if it really is consensual and all that, but just keep it out of public eye, because you KNOW the people will try to crucify you because of it. Don’t post pics on social media and just keep it private, because you’re just asking for a PR shitstorm.
Luka’s 3pt% will go back to 35 by the end of the year, huh.
That’s too cute!
They are actively making the game more and more unbearable. It’s actually hilarious.
It’s like the frog in water. If you put a frog into hot water, it will jump out immediately, but if you put it in cold water and then slowly heat it up, it will eventually boil. Riot is doing the latter. It’s slowly removing valuable free things bit by bit and people are just numb to it at this point. Riot has enough whales to justify these decisions so they have zero incentive to give people free things.
Why are you people still paying for Riot products?
A part of me believes that him playing some more basketball in the Summer is not a bad thing, it keeps him in good condition, but on the other hand, it’s just more miles on his body. Idk.
Yeah, I think it’s more on Luka than Cuban. If Luka wants him gone, he’ll be gone. But as long as Luka is in his corner, we’ll just have to watch him watch just like the rest of us.
Yeah, but the problem is, Draymond is a vital piece of the Warriors team and he was an integral part of each title. He’s the one that does the dirty work for them. And the NBA doesn’t want to jeopardise Steph’s potential success. They go hand in hand. Draymond plays, Steph has a shot to win more games. it’s that simple for them.
Yeah, both have invisibility, but I think Kai’Sa has the edge because of burst and she shields herself.
That is a rough stretch of games. Maybe they’ll beat the Pelicans or Heat.
People hate it when a player is overhyped by the media before he even does anything. Same thing happened with Zion and it’s the reason why Luka became so beloved, because the media paid very little attention to him in his rookie year, until he started playing like a veteran.
Wemby is the opposite. It’s not that he’s playing like shit, but by the media’s narrative and standards, he should be a borderline MVP candidate right now. I mean, that’s what people were saying after the draft, that he’ll be an MVP in his first few seasons.
Overhyped and now reality is sinking in.
He’ll get one in Dallas when he wins a chip with Luka. ;)
