Uncomplaint: Floor refinishing class was good and I feel somewhat confident I can do my floor project.
Complaint: Tool library sander is on loan so I will need to rent from Home Depot which is going to be like $500 for the two tools I need. But, certainly less expensive than having someone else do it.
Confession: Having a moment of feeling a little bit intimidated by my house projects but hopefully once I get going, I’ll feel better.
Complaint #2: I messed up my knee pulling carpet and staples. I think it’s from sitting with my leg bent on the floor? Feels like the dumbest injury. Luckily it doesn’t hurt all the time.
Unrelated side note: I finished watching Everything Now on Netflix and I am low-key so excited to see such a refreshing and more accurate representation of eating disorders on the “big screen.” I don’t recommend watching if you are active in ED or newly in recovery, but I’ll also say that it’s such an honest portrayal of the struggle and it is probably not too triggering. I thought it was very good and would be interested to hear other thoughts.
